We are so happy that James & Welsy’s New Year’s Eve wedding is featured in Richmond Bride Magazine’s Summer/Fall 2014 Issue. Their midnight festivity was romantic, glamorous and so much fun!
Using the Bolling Haxall House in Richmond, VA as their wedding backdrop, guests were thrust back in time with art deco designs, vintage furniture, and glittering chandeliers. The couple was able to incorporate both of their personal styles – urban glam with an added vintage touch. To complement with the 1920′s romantic tone, simple flowers in muted pinks and ivories and candles were used as decor.
To incorporate Welsy’s heritage, we highlighted her Puerto Rican roots through the hors d’oerves and delicious Tres Leches Cakes. The touches of gold, tastes of champagne, and the countdown to midnight catered to the New Year holiday – and it perfectly reflected the couple’s fun nature and high energy.
Below are some photographs of the wedding, captured by Jason Collins Photography. Be sure to pick up your copy of Richmond Bride today to see the feature on pg. 76-77.
